Paul Cinquevalli (1858-1918)

One of Paul Cinquevalli’s most famous circus acts was to use only his teeth to lift a man in a chair. Born in present-day Poland, he changed his name from Emil Otto Paul Braun when he became a trapeze artist. Injury forced Paul to switch path. He started juggling and settled in London in the 1880s, where his act was a huge success.
