Otto Alexander Berens (1797-1860)

Otto Berens made his fortune in fancy goods. Born in Latvia, Otto settled in England in 1825 where he became a merchant. He imported musical boxes and fine fabrics like lace and silk. His monument was an expensive one, made of different types of granite as well as marble and limestone. It was recently restored by his descendants.
