Spring Open Day

We would like to welcome you to West Norwood Cemetery's Spring Open Day to celebrate our wonderful cemetery and green space.
We will have stalls from local organisations, free children's activities, a Flora and Fauna walk and Tours by Friends of West Norwood Cemetery.
The Visitors Centre will be open for everyone to find out about the history of this wonderful cemetery and the work carried out by the recently completed National Heritage Lottery Project 'A New Beginning'.
Here's the programme for the day:
- 10am-1pm: Stalls outside the Visitor Centre from local organisations, and the Visitor Centre exhibition will be open to view
- 10am-12.30pm: Make your own Dreamcatchers, suitable for 6yrs and over - just drop in - inside the Visitor Centre
- 10.30am-11am, and a repeat at 12.30pm-1pm: The King with Dirty Feet, storytelling with Pomme, find us on the grass opposite the Visitor Centre - bring a blanket!
- 11.30am-12.15pm: Flora and Fauna guided walk led by Iain Boulton - 7yrs and above, FREE but please book as places limited: www.westnorwoodcemetery/floraandfauna
- All day - Children’s Discovery Trail for 3 - 8yrs, pick up your trail guide inside the Visitor Centre.
- You’ll also have the chance to have your garden shears and secateurs sharpened by expert Paul Richens at a cost of £7 per tool with £2 per tool donated to the Friends of West Norwood Cemetery.
Find the Open Day at the main entrance on the corner of Robson Road and Norwood Road both outside and inside the new Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre is fully accessible, including toilets.
