Grissell Family Tomb

Brothers Henry (1817-1883) and Martin De La Garde Grissel (1820-1904) co-owned the Regent’s Canal Ironworks. They manufactured iron for the some of the major building projects of their time, including bridges, the railings for Buckingham Palace and the British Museum, and ironwork for the Houses of Parliament. This tomb was originally surrounded by Grissell railings.
